State of Illinois, White County

Whereas the underassigned, one of the Justisis of the Peace within & for Said County haveing been informed that the body of Wm. Bolerjack was found dead in S'd County on the 28th Day of Feb. A.D. 1853 and S'd Justis purceded immediately to Summans a Jury of 12 lawful men and Repare to the place where boddy of the S'd Bolejack lay & Said Jury being Sworn acording to law after which they Examined the Said Boddy & Return a Verdict as follows (Viz.) that the S'd Wm. Bolerjack Came to his Death by lightning.

This Feb. 28, 1853.

The bill of costs for the above Inquest is as follows (Viz.):

Summansing Jury .75
Holding Inquest 5.00
Jury Fees 3.00
Total $8.75

The friends of the Deciest proceded then to inter the boddy of the Deciest.

Do hear by certify the above to be Correct as Recorded in my Dockit.

Given und my hand and seal this 15th day of June 1853.
