Carl ‘Paddlefoot’ Dean

Carl ‘Paddlefoot’ Dean, 71, a resident of Carmi, passed away Monday at 11:40 a.m. in the White County Nursing Home.

He was born Aug. 22, 1907 in Emma Township, the son of John and Jenny Bolerjack Dean.

Surviving are two brothers, John and Paul both of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Carl ‘Paddlefoot’ Dean will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Marshall Ferry Cemetery, with the Rev. Leon Cochran officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home.
