Charles Edgar Felty, Fairfield

Charles Edgar Felty, 80, a resident of Fairfield, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday at the Flora Care center.

He was born Sept. 9, 1902 in Carmi, the son of Charles Edgar and Dolly Austin Felty.

Surviving are two sons, Elwood Huffer of Carmi and Charles Felty of Fairfield; two daughters, Linda Dour of Westwood, N.J. and Frances Englebright of Edenburg; a brother, John Felty of Springerton; two sisters, Irene Shaw and Verna Lee Duckworth, both of Springerton; one half-sister, Glena Fern of Ekwall, Calif.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Don George officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
