Mary E. Sturm, Crossville

Mary E. Sturm, 79, a resident of Crossville, died at 8:33 a.m. Sunday at Carmi Township Hospital.

She was born Dec. 15, 1903 in White County, the daughter of Enoch and Ellen Ralls Hargrave and was a member of the Crossville Primitive Baptist Church. She had lived in White County during her lifetime.

Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Ann Meeler of Carmi and Natalee Sturm of Crossville; a sister-in-law, Micha Bell Hargrave of Crossville; three sisters, Kateson and Eva Fishback, both of Carmi, and Sarah Burris of Maunie; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kittinger-Fair Chapel, with the Rev. Clifford Waller officiating. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mary E. Sturm, Crossville

Funeral services for Mary E. Sturm were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kittinger-Fair Chapel, with the Rev. Clifford Waller officiating. The Pleasant Union Primitive Baptist Church Choir sang “Amazing Grace” and “In the Garden.”

Serving as casketbearers were Wayne Nelson, Jack Lamont, George Hargrave, Hal Ray Nelson, Jerry Woodrow and Dude Schalk.

Interment was in Centerville Cemetery.
