Akers, Ruby B. - Age 83, of Crown Point, passed away at her residence, Sunday, July 15, 1984. Survived by: William L. (Jean) Akers of Crown Point, M. Kenneth Akers of California, Betty Lou Fair of Texas, Bob Lee (Faye) Akers of South Carolina, Bernice Akers of Crown Point, John H. (Maryon) Akers of Merrillville, Dennis A. (Patricia) Akers of Crown Point, Sharon K. (Paul) Akers of Hebron; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. She was an area resident for the past 55 years. Funeral services, July 18 at 10 a.m. from the Little Funeral Home, Crown Point. Jean P. Akers will be reading. Burial, Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. from the Little Funeral Home.
