Local Woman Had Lived 100 Years

Probably the oldest person in White county died Sunday when Mrs. Martha Ann Bolerjack, who lacked just a few days of reaching her hundred and first birthday, passed away at the county infirmary.

Mrs. Bolerjack was born August 17, 1828, and at the time of her death was 100 years, 11 months and 4 days of age.

She was the daughter of John D. and Elizabeth Thompson Jimmerson. Her father was born in North Carolina and her mother in Virginia.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leora West, of Carmi. Four sons preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held from the Archer Funeral Home at 5:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. J. Fahnestock of the Methodist church. Interment was made at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
