Mrs. G. W. Bolerjack Called To Higher Home

Funeral Was Held For Esteemed Lady At Albion Church in Hamilton County on Friday.

A good and noble woman was called to her reward when death claimed Mrs. George W. Bolerjack.

Her place in the home and in the hearts of her family can never be filled but a sweet memory will linger ever with those bereft of her loving presence.

Impressive funeral services were held Friday at Albion church in Hamilton county, conducted by Rev. C. M. Prince of McLeansboro, in the presence of a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends.

The funeral was directed by Cox & Turner. The following obituary was read at the funeral:

Martha T. Bolerjack, daughter of John and Mary McPeak, was born near Norris City, Illinois, March 25, 1852; departed this life October 22, 1930, at 1:25 p.m., aged 78 years, 6 months, 27 days.

She was united in marriage to G. W. Bolerjack March 24, 1874. To this union were born six children: John, Charlie, of Norris City; James of Enfield; Alice Carter and Laura Carter of Peoria; and one daughter, Stella, who preceded her in death some 35 years ago.

She leaves to mourn her departure her aged companion, three sons, two daughters, two brothers, B. J. McPeak of McLeansboro, A. C. McPeak of near Norris City; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and hosts of other friends and relatives.

She professed faith in Christ at the age of 16 years and lived a devoted Christian life. On account of her afflictions she was deprived of the privilege of attending church for the last four years, but she bore her afflictions with patience.

She was a kind companion and loving mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. While it is our great loss it is Heaven's gain. Aunt Martha has been blessed with Heavenly gifts of goodness manifold and God has set upon her head a crown of purest gold.
