Max Nibling
Max Nibling was born in the old country in 1833. He lived with his parents on a farm until 1854, when like so many other young men, he decided to leave home and country and seek his fortunes in America. And he has been successful here. On landing in America, he first went to Evansville, Ind., and from there to Marrs township, Posey county, Indiana. There, he remained about eighteen years when he went to White county, Illinois, to the farm on which he now resides, about 1873.
The first wife of Mr. Nibling died sixteen years ago. To them were born six children, five boys and one girl. Only three boys are now living. In 1885 he was again married.
By industry and economy Mr. Nibling has accumulated a comfortable competency since he came to America, for he came without anything.
As a neighbor, he is liked and respected, and is a valuable citizen of White county.
