Union Community Pioneer Citizen Claimed by Death
Mrs. Siddy Bolerjack Dies at 93; Funeral To Be Thursday
Mrs. Siddy Elizabeth Bolerjack, 93, well known White County resident, died at 3 a.m. today at the home of a son, Harry, in Union Community, where she had been making her home.
Mrs. Bolerjack died in the same room in which she and her husband, James C. Bolerjack, began housekeeping 79 years ago. She was married when she was 14 years old.
Mrs. Bolerjack was born September 10, 1857, in Union vicinity and spent her entire life in that area. Her husband died in 1912.
Funeral Thursday
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Union Church, with the Rev. Troy Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with the Turner Funeral Home in charge. The body is at the home of the son, Harry.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Artie Welch, of Norris City, and Mrs. Celia Oliver, of Wichita Falls, Texas; and five sons, Harry, of near Norris City; Lawrence, of Harrisburg; Bartie, of Mishawaka, Ind.; Hobert, of St. Joseph, Mich., and Roy, of Norris City.
