Rites Today for Claude Sturm

Services were conducted today from the Sturm Funeral Home in Grayville for Claude W. Sturm, 73-year-old Crossville resident who passed away at 4:30 p.m. in the Wilmar Restorium where he had resided since February 8. He had been ill for sometime.

The Rev. Carl Williams officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Maurice Sturm, Harold Sturm, Lenard Sturm, Willard Sturm, Everett Sturm and Alvin Stein.

Mr. Sturm was born February 24, 1896 in White County, the son of George W. and Caroline Ridenour Sturm.

He was married October 27, 1916, to Mary Mildred Robinson.

Mr. Sturm belonged to the Crossville First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by the widow, Millie; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Ruth) Barbre and Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Rawlinson, both of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Prados, Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Ben M. Sturm, Crossville; a sister, Mrs. Phillip Fieber, Crossville; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
